Coffit

Coffit is a small café on Iran's northern coast, in a town where cafés and restaurants outnumber their customers. The client's answer to that saturation was a menu built entirely on stevia rather than sugar — and that single decision became our first cue for the space.

Working within a tight footprint, we treated two things as priorities: protecting the privacy of each table, and recovering the dead corners a small plan inevitably produces. In the left corner, a mirror runs floor to ceiling across the full wall, turning the room's least usable surface into a place where guests stop to record a sweet moment. Its position is deliberate — the reflection holds the display case and the day's pastries, never the seated tables.

The wall facing the street and the entrance was given to the syrup bottles themselves. The idea that defines the café is the first thing visible from outside, and it doubles as the room's ornament.
